Job Summary:
The Wildlife Ecologist is responsible for conducting research and studies related to the behavior, population dynamics, and habitat requirements of wildlife species. The incumbent will collect field data, perform data analysis, and contribute to the development of wildlife management plans. Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Biology, Ecology, Wildlife Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is highly desirable.
2. Proven experience in conducting field research and surveys, preferably in a wildlife ecology or conservation-oriented setting.
3. Strong knowledge of ecological principles, wildlife behavior, and conservation biology.
4. Proficiency in collecting and analyzing ecological data using statistical software and other relevant tools.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating effective time management and organizational skills.
7. Demonstrated proficiency in writing research reports and scientific papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
8. Familiarity with relevant legislation, policies, and regulations related to wildlife conservation and management.
9. Physical fitness and stamina to work in various outdoor environments and climates, often in remote locations.
10. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required for fieldwork and attending conferences or meetings.
